Data-driven personalised health videos and their role in supporting healthcare services

The Digital Innovation Unit (DIU), along with their commercial partner Citizen Communications, are hosting an event on the 31 January and 1 February to discuss an innovative solution to patient communication and engagement: personalised health videos.

What are personalised health videos?

Personalised health videos provide relevant, timely and accurate health information directly to people’s phones. They are a powerful tool to help people make positive lifestyle changes, manage chronic health conditions and improve uptake of existing health and care services.

“This is one of the most exciting innovations I’ve seen recently, and I’m delighted that the DIU is able to play a key role in facilitating and promoting its use across the NHS system.”

John Uttley – Director of the DIU

Event details

During this online event, the DIU and Citizen Communications will be addressing many of the issues our clients are facing and how data-driven personalised health videos can help address them.

These include:

  • workforce and capacity
  • cost saving
  • promoting commissioned services
  • health inequalities
  • disease prevention
  • condition self-management
  • accessing health and care services
  • health literacy.

The event will last for one hour over Microsoft Teams with sessions held in the morning and afternoon. The exact timings for each event are to be confirmed closer to the time.

How to attend the event

To register for the event and state your preferred attendance date and session, please complete this booking form.

If you need any other information about the event or the work of the DIU, please email Paul Copeland, Digital Health Lead, DIU.
