The four NHS Commissioning Support Units (CSUs) will be taking part in this year’s NHS Providers Annual Conference and Exhibition, where we’ll explore how we can support NHS leaders in overcoming current and future health and care challenges.

Taking place on 12-13 November 2024 at ACC Liverpool, this event will gather over 800 senior leaders from NHS trusts, system partners, and stakeholders. Under the theme ‘Next Generation’, the focus will be on how we can strengthen the NHS to ensure it remains effective, responsive, and capable of meeting evolving community needs.

Improving patient experience while waiting

As part of the ‘Delivering with partners’ strand, NHS South, Central and West (SCW) and NHS North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) will highlight how providers can enhance the patient experience while they are waiting, with person-centred approaches such as:

– Patient-led validation: Clinically informed conversations to ensure patients are on the right pathway.

– Technical validation: Insight-driven data quality checks to enhance efficiency.

– Waiting well: Targeted health coaching to empower patients in managing their health.

This session begins at 13:25 on Tuesday, 12 November, featuring successful initiatives that have already made a positive impact. For more details on the programme and speakers, visit the NHS Providers website.

Meet us in the CSU lounge

Representatives from all four CSUs will be available at our lounge, located next to the NHS Providers stand, to discuss your challenges and share expertise in areas such as:

– Workforce transformation and planning

– Productivity and efficiency improvements

– Digital transformation

– Clinical strategy, redesign, and patient flow

– Business intelligence and analysis

– Supporting provider collaboration and consolidation

Commenting on our participation, Michael van Hemert, Managing Director, said:

“As CSUs, we recognise our responsibility in supporting a health and care system facing significant challenges and ongoing change. Our involvement in this event is not just about sharing our successful initiatives, but also about listening to NHS leaders and exploring how we can further adapt our support.”

Please contact us for more information or to arrange a meeting with our team during the conference.
