Chief Digital and Information Officer
Gurpreet Dhatt is an experienced digital leader and strategic innovator. As CDIO, Gurpreet brings a strong focus on harnessing technology, data, and digital transformation to deliver meaningful value for customers across the evolving NHS landscape. Gurpreet plays a central role in shaping NHS ML’s digital services and ensuring the organisation remains resilient, modern, and customer‑focused.
Having been part of the CSU since its inception, Gurpreet has helped shape ML’s digital journey from the outset. With a professional background rooted in Digital Transformation and Digital Programmes, Gurpreet brings deep expertise in leading complex digital change, optimising services, and delivering large‑scale technology programmes across the health sector.
Gurpreet also serves as Director of the Digital Transformation Unit, reinforcing NHS ML’s commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and systemwide transformation.
