Chris Knight – Business Executive Lead
Chris brings 30 years of NHS experience to the Commissioning Support Unit. Beginning his career working in a clinical chemistry laboratory, Chris went on to undertake a number of general management posts in acute hospital trusts.
He was director of clinical services at the Dudley Group of Hospitals and also has senior experience working in strategic health authorities (SHAs) – as head of service improvement at Shropshire and Staffordshire SHA, and at West Midlands SHA where he led the World Class Commissioning Programme.
Chris led the programme management around the merger of Central Midlands and Staffordshire and Lancashire CSUs and continues to support the managing director across a range of key business areas for Midlands and Lancashire CSU. He is passionate about continuous improvement and committed to making the new organisation successful and a great place to work.
Chris offers service leadership of our governance and risk as our named senior information risk owner (SIRO) and leads on our business continuity, and equality and diversity agendas.
