Our track record

Home » About us » Our track record

Organisations are blurring the boundaries that used to exist between them. It’s a momentous change but it will require lots of drive and ambition to make it a success.

As a partner to the health systems we’re a part of, we can help integrated care bodies to focus on the bigger picture and help them with the high quality transformational and ‘back office’ support they need.

Everything we do is designed to give you the professional backing you’re looking for. We understand and share your aims, and we know our business inside and out.

Our clients, including integrated care systems (ICSs), provider collaboratives, primary care providers, hospital trusts, local authorities,  and other public bodies trust us to work with them to make important things happen.

We are an organisation with a unique geographical reach and experience in serving diverse urban and rural populations, and facing a range of commissioning challenges. Nine of England’s ICSs already benefit from our expertise:

Pricing

Our flexible pricing approach enables clients to share the risk of investment in new services, technology and people strategies with us, and reap the rewards of innovation and transformation.

Unlike private sector suppliers, we exist only to support the health and care of patients – whether working on our own or with commercial partners, we charge NHS rates, generating real value for money. We also reinvest our margin to benefit our NHS clients.

Part of our purpose is to reduce NHS reliance on management consultants. By creating capability within the system, we increase public value by reducing private profit. Making better use of public resources realises greater overall social value.

We act as an ‘honest broker’, advising clients on business cases and partnerships where they look to us for support. We pass NHSE’s stringent financial audit every year.

What our customers say

“NHS ML is a valued strategic partner assisting the ICS to meet the challenging agenda it has faced in relation both to its system role and the response to Covid. The CSU has found creative ways to support our provider collaborative on major schemes. We couldn’t have done it without you.”
